A bit like stepping back into the 90's with the design, decor and general atmosphere. The food was basic level but a fair price for what it was. Think the hand dryer is an antique by now. Quirky really and if you want to park for the night in your campervan it's a fair price with electricity.

My husband and I were invited to a party in Spondon and we found this pub recommended on a motorhome site. We stayed in the carpark in our motorhome for 3 nights and cannot fault the pub, the staff the food everything. We ended up eating in 3 times and each time the service was quick, the food reasonably priced and delicious. Dog's are welcome and even have their own doggo menu. We will definitely be back again.

Fantastic little spot. Some good walks, went to The Hermitage, but footpaths too waterlogged to walk across as it had rained all night.

Love this place. Proper home cooked food and a good selection of drinks. The guy behind the bar was great.
