Bring a picnic and all you need is the sun, there's a swimming baths at the entrance, a good park for all ages, skate park and outdoor waterpark, really cheap day out and if your going to let the weather spoil it for you because you cannot wait to get skin cancer, piss of to Spain.
Love west Park massive place room for joggers cycling, park for the kid's, ideal for dog walking there's only one thing wrong is the cafe does not open in autumn or winter.

Nice Cafe now it's finally open. Friendly staff and good choice of hold and cold drinks. Good range of snacks too for the kids. Basic seating inside/outside but with the Cafe being in the middle of the park you can grab a snack and sit in the park!
