“We've just enjoyed an amazing 8 course taster dining experience. Every course of the dinner was delicious, and the extra (free) dishes were a wonderful and unexpected bonus. The staff were friendly and the whole experience was a fantastic way to celebrate our anniversary. We shall return!!”

“Called in for a late afternoon meal on Saturday, after getting our caravan set up at a local camp.
Service was excellent and the food was great too.
Whilst there we booked in for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed, quality was again excellent and the Sunday lunch was a substantial portion and great value for money.
They have a nice beer garden and the whole pub (including restaurant) was dog friendly which was a great find for us.”

“Went camping there and loved the site, very laid back and close to Matlock, Matlock Bath. Good showers, no washing up area which is fine if you're only there for a night or two. Will definitely be back if in the area again.”

“My son, daughter in law, and myself were visiting Cromford for the first time and took a gamble on where to eat lunch as we new comers. The gamble definitely paid off. We sat straight away and were waited on promptly. After ordering we had quite a wait for our drinks and food to arrive as it was busy. Although busy it wasn't noisy. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. The staff were polite, friendly and very apologetic about our wait. The food was incredible and well worth the wait. I had the Scampi and chips, which I've had in many establishments, but this was by far the best Scampi and chips I've ever had. Im not usually a chip fan and normally always end up leaving quite a few. These home made chunky chips with skin on were delicious and I cleared them all. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend The boat Inn as The place to eat when visiting Cromford. ?”
