Visited at lunch time today after walking around Carsington. We turned up on spec. Very friendly welcome from all staff. Really enjoyed sandwich and a burger. Open fire added an additional bonus on a cold day. A busy pub but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Highly recommended. Thank you to the staff.

Great food, great staff and great value for money. We were a party of 17 so we had to pre-order, and all our food was freshly made and came out pretty much together. The two girls waiting on us were lovely. I would definitely go back if I was in the area again.
