This is an exceptional pub. Excellent service and great home cooked food. Proper good old fashioned pub with a great atmosphere. No pretentious people and no rowdy people. We love it. Thank you.
On our way home from walking along the Cromford canal, looking for a dog friendly pub that also served food. Attentive, friendly staff with plenty of seating both inside and out with ample parking. Had a couple of pints of Directors which were perfect. Then ordered very tasty chicken and beef burgers, both served with chips and salad. 8 of us went out for a meal on Saturday night.vthe food was excellent and the boy/man who served us was fantastic. He is so efficient and remembers everything , he is also very comical so was a pleasure to be there.
