Horrible badly signed site layout. Firstly there's a trick non entrance that takes you round an associated car park with no way back into the garage and you come out to find the correct entrance. This is ok for petrol/diesel but the EV charging is just a single unit with the labelling on the 2 sides you can't see when you come in. Then, the charger is in the middle of about 4 tyre pump (or vacuuming?) units and someone tidying their car and seeing to their tyres completely blocks...read full review
I kinda like it We only went here because the last junction welcome break derby east had broken toilets. But let's get back to shell. It's nice has a KFC and a Waitrose. And a KFC drive through too!. Clean but had some wasted space at the entrance. Over the road is a subway and a charity shop. But what I like is in the entrance theirs a nice, welcoming picture of trees as the wallpaper. Great place to stop for fuel and a little break, good choices of food and drinks. Staff polite.Warning. Don't park in the IBIS car park, we got a £60 fine for 30 mins. We didn't notice a sign.
