Kit and Kee served tasteless supermarket meringue nests (packets were seen in the kitchen) instead of the agreed ‘brown sugar meringues’ .We were told that ‘they ran out of time’ to make the agreed meringues.The agreed ‘botanical cocktails with blackberry and bay leaf’ were served without either and we were told the items were not available.This made the cocktails look ordinary rather than something special.The agreed organic baked ham at breakfast was dry, grey and looked and tasted like a day old leftover pork which looked unappealing and did not taste like ham.I witnessed two guests each pulling a hair out of their pain au raisin and another pulling a hair out of the breakfast potato dish.I also saw a chef with his bare hand in the granola container in the kitchen.From my professional catering experience this shows poor food handling and hygiene.There was a general feeling of a lack of care and attention as well as a disregard for what was agreed which was underwhelming and disappointing.

Kit & Kee’s food at our wedding was incredible. Everything was so fresh and full of flavour and the service was totally seamless.The trout, lamb, loads of interesting herby vegetables and tarte tatin were all delicious.Visiting the farm for our tasting with Chris was our favourite part of wedding planning and it really felt like we were creating dishes with him, as opposed to choosing from a fixed menu. It’s also great knowing that all the produce is local.Would highly, highly recommend them. Thank you Chris, Esther, Carlotta, Hugo and team!

I picked K&K for our wedding on 23rd Sept. The team were an absolute pleasure to work with the whole way through. Myself and my husband love food, so it was very important to us to have good caterers. Probably our number 1 priority actually. The testing day with Chris was so fun, and he is so passionate. Esther was very helpful and Carlotta on the day ran a very tight and smooth ship. The staff were exceptionally attentive, and we used K&K for our cocktails as well and wow they definitely know what they’re doing!!! Everyone in has commented to us about how incredible the food was. I only wish I could do it all over again and have the amazing canapés, exceptional main, delicious cake and even more tasty cocktails. K&K care so much, and I couldn’t recommend them more as a catering team. If I’m ever hosting an event again in Devon, I’ll be sure to know who I’m calling on. Thank you Hugo, Chris, Esther, Carlotta and the whole team, you truly made our day.

The whole process of creating our menu with Chris was great fun and we loved that the ingredients are locally sourced or grown on their small holding. Kit & Kee provided catering for our wedding and we would highly recommend them.As my partner doesn't drink the food was a big focus for us and we wanted a meal that we would want to eat again and again. After having lunch on their farm and talking to Chris we knew he was as passionate about food as we were and that Kit & Kee were the suppliers for us.We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and ended up drooling over our proposed menu for 18 extra months - it was worth the wait. From the post ceremony canapés to the wedding breakfast of sharing boards of meats with the most delicious sides (broccoli cheese, I'm looking at you) to our evening bites, everything was just delicious. All of our guests commented on how lovely the food was.As we had guests travelling from overseas we asked Kit&Kee to provide breakfast hampers to the on site accommodation. This was perfect for people who had travelled in and did not have time to shop. They had their choice of ingredients for a hot breakfast or for a continental breakfast. The ingredients were all fresh and from Kit&Kee's farm. The hampers were so well received by everyone and meant that we all started the days off right. We were still muching on the beautiful muesli a week later.Kit&Kee were highly professional, easy to communicate with and very good value. We would recommend them to anyone.
