Swung by the Hind on our last night of a 7 day visit to the area and wish we’d found it sooner. Great atmosphere - we arrived just before 6pm and were greeted warmly and offered a drink immediately as we walked in. Our dog was also made welcome with a water bowl and a treat. The staff were so warm and welcoming and the food was great and extremely reasonably priced. If this was our local, we’d feel very lucky! This is a lovely pub /restaurant for a family meal . The setting is lovely, the people are welcoming and friendly and we loved the food. Everything is catered for , and this is especially important because one of our party has Coeliacs. Everyone really enjoyed their meals here, and we went twice whilst on holiday.

The friendliness of the locals and the landlady / staff made for an entertaining couple of hours. The ales on tap are excellent and well-kept. The facilities are spotless and the building itself charming. Not a thing wrong and everything right.
