Called in on our way home. Very friendly greeting, was told to find a table and our drinks and food order would be taken. Lots of options on menu, including smaller portions if required, also special’s board. Orders placed, when served absolutely perfect, good portions, excellent quality and fairly priced. Will certainly go again when in the area.

As a family of six we had a lovely relaxing evening at the Old Inn. Friendly and welcoming staff. One of our Grandsons said his was the best burger he’d tasted. We had a range of meals from the menu…starters, battered fish, liver, steak pie, burger..all meals were well cooked , nicely presented and fairly priced. Afterwards we were allowed a quick game of skittles while waiting for our lift home. We’ll definitely go back again. Thank you.

An absolute pleasure to find ourselves here for lunch. A charming and picturesque inn, with thatch roof and an old English charm to it, we were very happy and full by the end of our meal. Everything was beautiful, especially the locally sourced beef and we couldn't help but have dessert to finish. A lovely couple who were polite and fast with service. Parking was easy and cost very reasonable considering where we were.I honestly would highly recommend for couples or families. They had toys to keep my youngest busy whilst we waited and by the end she didn't want to go home. I just wished I'd have taken a photo because the property is honestly stunning. With the cottage feel and the low beams and thatching, it really does look like something out of a fairytale. Very clean and quaint.Kid-friendliness: Toys available to keep them busy, lots of space outside, easy access to the toilets for children.Parking: Lots of space, easy to access.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp on the door for east entry and throughout the property.

A lovely, friendly, quaint pub with clean tables and a very warm welcome. The house Shiraz is good and the menu is varied with plenty of home cooked options. I chose the sirloin which was tender and cooked perfectly. My daughter had the homemade curry and enjoyed it too. Good value, large portions. Highly recommend as a better-than-average, friendly, character filled local pub. We have spent the past week and this was definitely our favourite pub experience.

So pleased we decided to stop here for Sunday lunch, the roast was perfect… and I was glad I opted for the small version, which came with three roast potatoes, a Yorkshire, and plenty of meat and veg. Hubby had scampi and chips which was also excellent. Lovely atmosphere in a traditional (700 yr old) country pub, with friendly attentive staff, great service and reasonable prices.

Fantastic proper English Sunday roast with veg cooked to perfection, gorgeous roast potatoes and real Yorkshire puddings - not the over airy balloons you get in the chain restaurants. All cooked to perfection by on premises staff. Good service and highly recommended.

Great pub, excellent food, friendly service, well worth a visit. We arrived on a Sunday early evening as food is served 5.30-8. A warm welcome and friendly staff. If you like real ale, definitely take a container, Otter Amber was on offer had a pint onsite and purchased three to go, in my own container. Dogs very welcome and if you are lucky there is a doggy menu, sadly for our three they had sold out. so one of our dogs made do with licking the barman's feet, Lol. We returned again on Wednesday 7.25 and was still warmly welcomed and served excellent food again.

Great place, lovely atmosphere, one of our favourite places for dinner. Garden with seating and a huge car park.

Been here a few times and even though the staff/management /ownership has changed, it appears to have changed for the better ?Food's brilliant and staff attitude top hole. Certainly make sure you visit. It's a superb stop if you're passing through. We'll certainly be back before summers out. We'll done all the people who work and run the Old Inn??

Good effort at a ‘revamp’ to a more traditional approach to restaurant service, with a varied menu and personalised choices, according to food allergies. If there is an observation it might be around the staffing, as all orders had to be managed by an already tasked barman - although this is minor issue, which is probably addressed at more ‘peak’ times. A tasty, welcome meal in a very traditional location and premises which more befits the setting than some recent reincarnations at the same venue.

Very friendly pub with excellent food. Sunday roast was as good as any we have had in a pub. Hosts were charming. We were on holiday and enjoyed the fact that dogs are also welcome. They even have dog treats for sale behind the bar. First class.
