The only place I’d go for Sunday lunch in Barnstaple. Great value, great service, brilliant choice and fantastic vegetable cookery. A next level carvery and such good service every time. Thanks to all the team, it’s always good.

We had the Sunday lunch ( Table for 5).From the moment we walked into the bar, we were well treated.We all had slightly different choices from the caverery, and we loved them all.It was such a good meal we have already booked a table for next month.

A delicious "home made" taste Sunday Carvery with the option to choose beef cooked "rare". Food is piping hot. Delicious. At the time of writing review there is limited choice for desserts, but its unlikely you will want one after the carvery!Parking: Carpark a few minutes walk. Free on a Sunday.

Very tasty carvery. Bit tight on meat allowance but the accompanying food and vegetable sides are lush. The bakes for pudding are also very very tasty!

Really lovely friendly pub, great staff & excellent Sunday lunch carvery. Booking advised as it's very popular, but it's a bonus that you can eat a late lunch as they serve until 4pm. A wonderful selection of tasty fresh vegetables which are all replenished regularly & the meat options are cooked how they should be. I always pre-order the vegetarian option for myself & have had nut roasts or a fantastic vegetable wellington made by Adam, one of the chefs. I also have my own veggie gravy & I wouldn't change a thing! Can't fault it & we will keep going back. A super family run pub! Well done Team Fox.

Went with my family for mothers day and had the carvery, it was amazing, tasty, hot and loads of choice, no overcooked or dried out vegetables. They were very busy and the service didn't faulter either. We'll definatley be back.
