We came in for lunch and to attend a family fun day with games etc for the kids. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, the kids really enjoyed the games. The food was lovely, I had hunters chicken which was a huge portion and delicious. My husband had the special burger which, again, was a nice big portion and really tasty. The kids enjoyed their chicken nuggets and chips. We will definitely be back for dinner again soon!
Been under new management for past year. The food is good as is the bar service with a good selection of spirits and real ale. Only thing needed is more support to see it has improved 100% since previous managers.It's worth a try to find out how different the place is.

A lovely bar in the heart of Bickington. Great for the family or a night out. They always are trying to do things for charity. Last night was bingo night for a children's hospice, how lovely. They also have karaoke nights. Bar staff warm and welcoming. Locals are friendly. The food here is traditional and homemade. Sometimes busy and sometimes quiet but a recommended bar.
