Booked for a meal on Boxing Day as we were staying in the village for Christmas , very good service, excellent food at a good price. The staff were very attentive and courteous. Will definitely be returning to this pub when we are next in the area
We are Australians travelling and staying down the road, we dined out for dinner around 6:30pm on a Saturday night. We didn’t make a reservation but we’d recommend to, if you come later as they were starting to get busy as we were leaving.We ordered Westcountry Rump Steak and Lasagna.We requested the steak to be cooked medium rare but it came out more on the medium side, although super tender which was good. We had a wonderful meal here tonight. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful dealing with my GF and DF requests.Highly recommended, the young staff are a credit to this establishment.
