Excellent Public House. My 1st visit following Bells practice at local Church. Group of approx 12 with me so table set in corner...Good thinking. Staff friendly & provided table service which is so rare. Also a number of hot pasties arrived at after 9pm...unheard of in most pubs. Well done...oh lovely pint of Legend ale as well.

Visit whenever in ibovey , but new years eve totally ruined by a undermining outsider table (and I can take banter ) very rude, conformational, but did retaliate nicely) no reflection on landlord at all , but went back down cromwell)

Insane food. Soup isn’t soup at all. It’s the tastiest meal in a bowl with the freshest bread. What a find!!!!

Popped in for a lunchtime beer whilst out on a walk. A fantastic selection of beers, super friendly staff and clientele and a wonderful beer garden out the back. Very relaxing,?

Visited the Bell Inn, a 16th century Gd II listed building, full of character displaying pretty hanging baskets & window boxes, located in Town Hall Place, Bovey Tracey accessible via B3344 off the A38.This gem of a pub clearly value their customers, greeting them in a welcoming manner & service with a smile.Chose traditional cooked ham salad after finding it difficult to choose from other tempting options; it was exemplary. A salad served in a wooden bowl including everything from potato salad, coleslaw, generous thick slices of sumptuous ham, beetroot, spring onions, roasted peppers & toms, cherry toms, onions, cucumber, various lettuce leaves; not only did the bowl look enticing, it was packed full of flavour. We had rustic bread (tasted like sourdough bread & was delicious) with 2 individual butters & a small jug of dressing. (Was offered a choice of dressing. Have included photo which doesn't do it justice as salad was divine). Truly a fantastic salad, fantastic service, highly recommend & will return.(Our only regret is we failed to realise the beautiful display of flowers upon entrance should have provided a clue that a hidden oasis is located at the rear of pub, offering customers to dine outside amongst a charming, well kept garden area. )Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

What a find..After wet camping weather and a soggy walk into town we found The Bell.We were met with such a lovely reception, our 2 wet dogs were treated like royalty with drying mitts and warm beds and treats..Great beer and food but above all a little gem..Will definitely be returning

Not a big place but the garden is magical, I felt so relaxed there. The menu is a bit small but what we had was good. Pleasant staff.

Great Local Pub....need I say more? The one thing that separates this is that the pub has carried on table service from COVID-19 and its a really nice service/ touch ?

Nice little pub but as soon as we walked in at just after 1030 barmaid looked at her watch & then continually gave hints for us to leave. Pretty poor if I’m honest. Not the most friendliest of places.
