Second time visiting creeping thyme, the first being in their original Bovey Tracey location, this time at their new premises at Seale Hayne. The new setting is absolutely beautiful; the little bar area being dark and cosy and the restaurant being light and airy and sophisticated, the grand piano being a beautiful addition to the space. My partner and I visited Creeping Thyme last week whilst visiting Dartmoor. The whole experience was exceptional. Dawn and Louis were welcoming, friendly and engaging, and the food was incredible! We were the only table in there at the time, and so Louis was able to come out and speak to us afterwards which added a personal and special touch to the meal. Best meal we have had in a long time, ordered salmon and the duck to start followed by venison and aranchni then apple and pear crumble and lemon parfait all were stunning, full of flavour really well cooked will be recommending.
