On recommendation from family, we stopped off for a spot of lunch on our journey back to London. It's reputation exceeded itself, we had excellent service, good quality food and a lovely atmosphere/scenery. The two woman serving were friendly and efficient, managing a very busy lunch service without fault. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly be back on our next trip to Devon.

We had a wonderful Sunday roast here for mothers day. Even though it was the evening all options were still available on the menu after a busy lunchtime.All of the food looked amazing when it arrived and tasted just as good.The service was brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Everyone was catered for.... Even the 2 dogs that we had with us.Very dog friendly with all that you need and plenty of space for them to lie down while we ate. It was all perfect ?.

Very good experience. Staff were friendly, helpful and flexible. Food was very good. Even the kids thought so. One said it was now her favourite pub, another scored your food 9/10, having deducted 1 because the pizza wasn't sliced up for him :-). We will be back.
