We were staying on a caravan site locally and drove past the Williams Arms. The beautiful thatched building caught our eye and we called them to book a table for New Years Eve. They fitted us in and the inside of the pub and the carvery did not disappoint . Friendly and helpful staff also
We called into the Williams Arms as we were passing on our way back from a blustery walk. We looked sandy and windswept but we're given a very warm welcome by barman Jordan. The room was pretty full and had a lovely warm fire. He found us a table in the busy bar, cleaned it down straight away and took our drink order. The carvery smelled delicious and was very busy. Best Carvery in 2024. Hand’s down that this place serves the most delicious carvery i have ever had in Devon. Very affordable. Plate ur own. Lots of meat choices. There are like 3 kinda of spuds which i have never seen before. Went there coz of the reviews. Excellent place to go for lunch before a walk at the Braunton burrows.Lovely people and place is clean and well presented.
