rambling rustic pub/restaurant with a small car park full up but theres a public car park just around the corner so no problem. they have a good menu selection of hearty choices, well cooked and big portions. prices about average for the area, but good VFM as the meals we had were excellent (beef chilli burrito bowl, beef&black pudding pie with mash and veg). decent pint of Tribute too. no hesitation coming again if we're ever in the area again

Really friendly staff and super dog friendly. We hadn’t booked and they were busy but they found us a table in a perfect location.The drinks and food were brought to us really promptly. The food was just what we wanted, home cooked food and it was really tasty.The staff even brought a bowl of water for our two dogs. So kind of them and so friendly.Thank you for making us so welcome. ?Food & drinks: Best pub food I’ve had in quite a while. The service was amazing too. We will be back!
