Absolutely love this pub. We visited yesterday for the forth time and had the Sunday roast and veggie nachos. My husband said it was the best roast dinner he'd ever eaten and that is high praise. The nachos were absolutely delicious too. I'm desperate to try the banoffee pie but am always too full from the main. One day!! It's always such a lovely atmosphere and we're somehow always lucky enough to get the same table by the fire. We'll be back!
Advised waiting staff I’m fully GF, no problem and presented a separate menu with all food allergies listed!! That doesn’t happen very often, it really wasn’t a problem and in fact the staff were rightly proud!!

Went for a breakfast, we were the first people in but were greeted by staff happily. Ordered at the bar by a lovely lady who was very polite, and made our drinks. Food was amazing, the ‘thatch breakfast’ was £12.50 and the eggs Benedict was £11. Both worth the price. Really pleasant experience, friendly staff, great food and decent prices, and with a beach down the road; perfect place to visit
