Came here by chance with 3 other family members after another place we were visiting was closed. Well I am so glad it was. The barman ( don't know if it was his place) was so welcoming and friendly and his service was impeccable. We all had fish chips & mushy peas. The chips were chunky, really crispy but light. The best Sunday lunch I think I have ever had in a pub. ALL is homemade and expertly cooked and presented. Local produce and so fresh. Brilliant value too. Love this pub and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to trying more dishes, but the ones I have rated are excellent too.Vegetarian options: Lovely veggie Sunday lunch and there is plenty on the menu for vegetarians. The Sunday lunch also has delicious vegetable accompaniments.
