Golden Lion is a great friendly pub with a good choice of drinks. The food is excellent and comes in good portions. On Sundays, they serve amazing lunch with four choices of meat: beef, turkey, pork, and gammon. It includes plenty of vegetables, large Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, gravy, and condiments for a great price of £10.95. Booking is recommended, especially in the evening when it is very busy.
