After a long walk around the lovely, picturesque Brixham, myself and my partner were quite peckish and visited Tides cafe. The location was lovely and we sat outside which overlooked the marina. My partner ordered the full English breakfast - was impressed with the taste and enjoyed it all. I ordered a cream tea which consisted of two scones, cream and jam and included a small bottle of Prosecco. Hands down the BEST scones I’ve ever had. What more do you need? Great breakfast and friendly staff. This also has the added advantage of seating outside. Outside gives you a view that of the harbour and great for people watching. We eat here often and it’s never disappointing what appears on the plate. The breakfast comes with a high recommendation. Don’t let the negativity of some of the reviews about this place put you off going, some people are just born miserable and can’t find good in anything.
