What a treasure! We were looking for the Buckfastleigh services and stumbled upon Birdies Kitchen at the South Devon Railway Station.The "Full Steam Ahead" breakfast was possibly the best breakfast I have ever had! Amazing quality ingredients along with excellent coffee made this the perfect brunch.All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our dogs were welcomed and made a fuss of. Highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely unexpected treat.
It's a great location and a nice cafe, but two things really let it down, IMO. One is no cash accepted, and the other is charging quite a lot more for oat milk instead of dairy. That business decision is not worth the cost in a loss of sense of hospitality on that point, IMO.
