Had Christmas dinner at The Phoenix in Chudleigh, it was phenomenal absolutely amazing, Well done Ian & Tracey, and the amazing Emma, and all the staff, best going out Christmas Day dinner ever. ?

Haven’t visited before so was a-bit unsure. Walked in to be greeted by friendly faces and shown to our table promptly. We went on a Sunday so it was a Sunday menu but a good selection of choices . The service was attentive but not over the top . The roast options were really good, well presented and hot. Nice selection of vegetables which are served separately as was the gravy. Four of us dined here on our last night staying in a holiday cottage in Chudleigh, and had a great time. Staff were really friendly and efficient. All the food and wine was great but the starters were particularly excellent: scallops with black pudding; a mixture of prawns, calamari and whitebait; pork skewers. And I thought it was reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
