The G is the place to be, welcoming and dog friendly!

A very warm welcome was had, and a lovely fire to sit by. Decorated for Halloween but would happily go back in the summer.

We were holidaying near by and walked into Colyton. We thought we'd pop in for a quick pint and ending having three. A very friendly pub both the staff & the locals. The beer was superb, they really keep a good ale. I particularly liked the London Pride. I can thoroughly recommend it. ?

Delightful country pub!!! I’ve been here many times when visiting from London and I always leave happy! The team at the Gerrard are friendly, fun and always happy to chat with anyone who pops in. There is a gorgeous garden which is wonderful in the summer - especially when accompanied with their locally famous fish and chips!! Great service, great pub! Would highly recommend the Gerrard to anyone visiting Colyton!

We only had a drink here after a ride on the Seaton tramways, but it's a lovely pub with both a back garden area and a front seating area too. Beer was a very reasonable price too.

I called in for a lunchtime drink after a trip on the Seaton tramway. A very pleasant little pub with a super friendly landlady. Definitely worth popping in if you're passing by, or fancy somewhere to go at the end of the tramline.

Been here several times a lovely town but as long as you are prepared to wait for all the locals to be served first fine serving in rotation does not exist here left the pub without being served we do not live in Colyton but do live locally how on earth does this pub expect to survive without welcoming people that do not live in Colyton very dissatisfied this place will close

A very welcoming pub at the heart of the community with a nice beer garden and a very well stocked and reasonably priced bar. Luckily the pub had a band on that night and the locals we met at the bar advised us to come through to the beer garden and grab a seat. It was a great community atmosphere. We could not fault the pub or the welcome from the staff and locals . We will return
A proper pubVillage favouriteNice staffGreat beerNice local vibe

Called in The Gerrard on Sunday 28th May following a trip on the Seaton Tramway. Eight of us (4 couples). Marvellous welcome, sunny and very busy tabled rear garden. Magical bonus of a ? Local A Capella group of guys (bouys?) singing shanty’s and folk songs. Massive shame the last return tram to Seaton was due so had to leave before the end. Although admittedly after numerous refreshments including two massive jugs of Pimms it was probably best. Didn’t fancy the walk back? Well done you lot in Colyton, reigniting my faith in the good old English village.

Lovely pub, very welcoming and busy due to a wedding party just arriving. Lovely quiet beer garden at the rear, real sun trap. Nice selection of local beers and staff friendly. Came across the pub after walking from the tramway at Seaton. Clean tidy and well set out

Went into the pub for a couple of drinks late afternoon with my wife. We were greated by very friendly staff & locals. For my sins I'm only a lager drinker ( there were plenty on offer), Madri being my tipple of choice ( Happy days!) There were several ales on offer which were apparently very good, according to those enjoying them. We got talking to one local gentleman who had ordered & recommended the Friday Fish & Chips, so we excepted his offer to join him at his table & thoroughly enjoyed said fish and chips! The beer batter was light & crispy & you could tell they were using fresh ingredients. The only regret we had was that we didn't take our dogs with us as they are a very dog friendly pub with plenty of treats & water bowls. Will be back, thank you!
