What a fantastic little spot. I went last night with a few friends for a Christmas get together, and we were thoroughly impressed from the start. The small dining area felt intimate, uncomplicated and cosy. The menu was made up of simple ingredients just cooked with a lot of care. Between us we had venison, turkey, gravadlax, sausages, soup , profiteroles and cheesecake and not a single dish disappointed. The icing on the cake was the extremely reasonable pricing. Very good food. Excellent cookery and attentive service. Amazing value for money. Only drawback, the room wasn't warm enough. We had been warned of this by a friend who has eaten here several times. We will definitely eat here again, but perhaps next spring, when the weather warms up.

It’s a long time since I’ve enjoyed a meal out as much as I did when I visited this restaurant with my wife, son and daughter in law this week. We all without exception enjoyed every mouthful of all four courses that were served up in this pretty and comfortable eatery. There was nothing that could be criticised at all.
