The coffee and snacks are alright, but you come here for the ambiance or because you're exploring a maze of bargain antiques. Totally a fun place to spend some time chatting, reading, whatever. The space is really interesting, welcoming, and fun. The coffee, if I'm honest, is merely alright - better than a Costa or a Pret, but nothing special. The staff are friendly, and easily confused. We got our coffee order wrong, but it was quickly corrected. They were flummoxed by getting a £20 note for a £9 order, and two of them working together sweetly offered £21 in change before we corrected them. It was charming, and we'll be back.

Went there for coffee and cake really friendly and the coffee and flapjack were excellent. Was a cold morning out and they had a roaring log fire burning could not have been more inviting. Really recommend the DOVETAIL CAFE.

Lovely day out topped off with a lovely coffee and panini in the cafe. Was very busy but the staff worked hard to accommodate us and were very friendly. Popped into The Dovetail Cafe this morning as part of a visit to The Antique Village. Coffee was excellent, the Salted Caramel Brownie to die for and all so reasonably priced, this coupled with being situated in The Antique Village makes it well worth a visit.
