Visited for Sunday lunch on the 31/12....not a huge menu, but that's expected on a Sunday. 2 in our party ordered the Lasagne, salad and fries, the other 2, roast beef. When she took our order, the lady (possibly the landlady) asked if I'd like a smaller meal, as the roast is, apparently, a big portion.... I said okay then, as I fancied a dessert. Lovely bar area and friendly staff. Food was good and 3 out of the four of us really enjoyed it. The other was "ok"The night we chose was pub quiz night and was very noisy which didn't help trying to have a conversation so we skipped desert and left early. Probably will go back but not on a quiz night.

Visited today for half a cider, a coffee and some scratchings. We were up the road looking to buy a car.We decided to call in for a drink as we were waiting for the garage to sort the car for us.Driving in to a spacious car park, Then went in, it was very welcoming.Girls behind the bar were great, lovely welcoming smiles and the cost of what we had was fantastic.We came from Bideford but would travel here again for a meal out and the great atmosphere.Thanks very much
