Popped in today for drinks with friends and we ended up doing a play reading and it was just lovely. The staff were amazing and loved the atmosphere!

The best a small pub can be; really friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. Fairly busy (considering it was early evening Monday) and seemed to be a good mix of locals and tourists. There was an extensive range of real ales (local and national), and certainly I can vouch for the quality of the two I tried. Already planning to go again at the end of this month. Highly recommended

Great beer......what else is there to say!!!!!? And also the beer ......I love it.Busy pub, great selection of real ale, cider and crisps.The beer is well kept and it changes from time to time so I get to try out different real ales.

We had a most wonderful time in the Pony and trap. We were recommended to go there as it would be your proper English pub! And it turned out to be just that. Proper ales, ciders and your butters poured by a most genuine pub patron. We enjoyed it very much ?
A little gem of a pub with an amazing selection of real ales and local ciders and ham or cheese rolls behind the bar, and cosy beer garden out the back. 10/10

A very good pub, with large selection of real ales and cider. Friendly bar staff and customers. No longer has live music, but now has returned to providing a Sunday roast.
