Only had coffee and pastries, but what a great café. The breakfasts on other tables made me wish I hadn't already eaten. Very dog friendly, to the extent that our dog was treated to a small sausage. Next time we are in Dartmouth, we will definitely return.

Amazing place for breakfast, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Always busy because it's awesome. I visited out of season and can only imagine what it is like in season.

Popped in for a breakfast during a working day … place was busy so a short wait but food was lovely and well worth the small wait. Not greasy, and quality ingredients.Polite and friendly staff that are very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Always a great breakfast to set you up for the day. Busy all year, tends to be a queue to be seated in summer months, however some things are worth waiting for.
A very, very poor lunch.Dirty table, terrible service and just a god awful steak sandwich. Why this was listed as a place to visit, I'll never know.Avoid.

Having been our go to place for breakfast for many years, we recently took visiting family. Of course we had raved about how it is the best place for breakfast etc etc. Unfortunately it really isn’t anywhere near the best place anymore, after waiting an unacceptable amount of time 3 of the 7 breakfasts were wrong and what was served correctly looked like it had just been thrown on the plate. Very dissapointing indeed and Alfs will soon lose all of its loyal customers, you can only trade on past reputation for so long….

10/10 for the all day breakfast. Probably the best English breakfast I have ever tasted. They welcomed us with our two dogs, service was great too.

On holiday, spotted this place and it was just what I needed, a cool, bustling place, friendly staff and great food. We all loved it, couldn't fault it. The club sandwich was huge, kids food great.
