We remember Cafe Alf Resco opening in Dartmouth many years ago. So it was good to return after a very long time, when visiting the town. In fairness, we only had two cappuccino coffees on this occasion - which happened to be very good. But the place had lost none of its chilled atmosphere and it was clear that customers were relaxed and enjoying the ambience. This looked to be one of the most frequented places of its kind in Dartmouth and is very busy at peak times. Breakfasts are popular. We had a baguette each for lunch - very substantial. The young, energetic staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would go back again.Parking: No parking available. If you are lucky you might find some street parking nearby.

On holiday, spotted this place and it was just what I needed, a cool, bustling place, friendly staff and great food. We all loved it, couldn't fault it. The club sandwich was huge, kids food great.
