Seafood Restaurants in Dartmouth

“Double birthday celebration and a golden wedding anniversary so chose Taylors for a special dinner. Food was excellent, choice and quality. Wine was highly priced. Staff were pleasant but not terribly effusive or informative in terms of talking through the menu or topping up our wine glasses.”

“The food was really impressive, we had fish and seafood and everything was very tasty. The restaurant was busy with a great atmosphere. Service was good but not great for a high end restaurant. Staff were a little cold and lacked attention to detail at times, not a big deal but at £100 per head these things matter. The restaurant is expensive and final bill around a third more than expected due to service fees and tips. Would recommend for a special occasion for seafood lovers but close to London prices.”

“Surprisingly nice - we thought it was a chain but it’s a very small one. Charming casual seaside vibe and extensive menu with lovely fresh choices. Lovely staff, though to be honest service was slow, if charming (one more team member would help). Excellent fresh local calamari, delicious silver mullet and top quality hake and chips, together with a new one on us - curry mushy peas: a triumph! Shame there was no draft beer but local cans pretty good option.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free batter!”

“We are holidaying on site at Leonards cove. I had the special fish dish of Brill, ratatouille, and potatoes which were out of this world! The dayboat fish and chips were also very good... In fact my partner said they were the best F&C's he's ever had! We're going to book again for our last night too.”
