Brilliant weekend. Lovely food in Amelias. Friendly professional staff.

Pros- nice clean site and friendly staff. Nice flat gravelled pitch but no good for a wheelchair user.Cons - allocated a pitch at one end of the site with a steep incline to navigate to reach all services. It was also extremely noisy day and night with constant road traffic on the A379. Not the idyllic peaceful break you would have expected in rural Devon. We booked online using the disabled shortcut only to find the pitch we were allocated was totally unsuitable for a wheelchair user. The accessible pitches have astroturf which is fine if you never leave the pitch. However in reality the journey to the restaurant, shop, entertainment and visitor centre is up a steep incline, so extremely challenging if you are self propelling a wheelchair! We only booked because the website claims the campsite to be disabled friendly. Maybe if you are able bodied you might have that perception but I can assure you it’s not.As many other patrons have pointed out the Wi-Fi app doesnt work unless you purchase a voucher code, so fundamental things like checking and adding mains electric are a huge issue when the phone signal is poor.We bought 2 breakfast vouchers but then had to pay £3.75 extra for a drink. Very unusual? I’m surprised they don’t charge extra for the hire of a plate, cup and utensils as every other essential is made an extra charge at Cofton. We made a mistake in our breakfast order and had to return one to have the eggs cooked through fully. It took 10 minutes to reappear and all the rest of the breakfast was stone cold. In complete contrast the Sunday Carvery the following day was a real treat. The quality of the food was great and a member of staff was extremely helpful in bringing my plate to me.

Great place for a break, either in your own Caravan or Motorhome, or to rent one of the nang Stathc vans and lodges. Food onshte was to a good standard. The facilities available were also great to use.

Super site, especially in the winter when it’s quiet.Site was over 80% empty in January yet I was charged £15 to park next to friends yet the pitches all around us were empty all the time we were there.I complained but it fell on deaf ears. Second and last time we will visit.
Camping.lovely clean site.Big site, good size pitches.Nice outdoor pool.Site good for all age group kids.

A super clean, friendly and well kept holiday park. We stayed in a cottage, very comfy with lots of lovely quality touches. We will be back.Walkability: There are various footpaths that lead into Dawlish Warren, well signposted and easy to negotiate with a buggy.

Caravan park with 3 chalets. Fantastic surroundings and fishing lakes. On site swimming pool, pub and entertainment building with bar. Dog friendly.

Very nice site only heavily let down by poor administration.Severe lack of communication between staff members, uninterested reception on telephone failed to have computer access to deal with my enquiry promised to get someone to call me back which never happened. When we did arrive and extended our stay at reception we had cleaners barging in clean to complaining they had not been told we had paid to stay longer, this happened twice on the same morning our cars registration was no longer recognised at any barriers, come on guys get your act together on the admin it's spoiling a great site that you have built up.

Very large holiday site with restaurants, pub, launderette, shop, indoor (outdoor in season) pools, activities to book eg ebikes, Ariel activities. Kids play areas. Touring pitches, camping pitches as well as lodges to book.Fishing lakes & tackle shop. Open all year.Clean toilets/showers.Excellent family site, though we only use it out of season Nov-March breaks, but love it. Lovely walks and good access to the English Riviera and Dartmoor.
