Was gifted an afternoon tea. It was great value. We were lucky enough to be seated in the window so we had a view of Dawlish Warren beach and Exmouth in the back ground. Pre tea we had a walk on Dawlish Warren beach with the dogs. Yes the Langstone permits well behaved dogs.Nearby activities: Funfair , beach, golf course, nature reserve, station. Costal path.Walkability: Very close to a railway station & a Great Sandy beach with dunes to walk along. Nature reserve for bird lovers. Also a small funfair for the children or young hearted. Go carts are fun.

Can’t go wrong with choosing this Hotel. Great location, great views, right on the coast and amazing food and hospitality. With the train station just a few minutes away, you can soon venture further afield with no need to drive.

Hotel staff friendly, food gorgeous and plenty of it dog friendly too. Views and gardens beautiful. Definitely recommend, and definitely going back. Bus and train station 5 minutes away. Lot's of walks you can do as well.

Down this way again i would definitely stay with you again and as i said in my other review the bed could have been a little bit softer the television in my room seems to struggle with satellite connection, But as a hole a lovely hotel

A very pleasant stay at a excellent location. The staff were excellent. Rooms and the food were good. This was our second stay and we were not disappointed. If you want good rates book directly with the hotel. You could leave the car at the hotel and and travel be train if you wished. Very convenient.

Just returned from a 3 night stay what a lovely hotel spotless right through all areas, we stayed on a bed breakfast and dinner package and was not disappointed the food was amazing a four course meal and coffe and chocolate afterwards, the staff in all areas were amazing they couldn't do enough for you and it was lovely they all took the time to have a conversation with you , I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in the area I can't wait to come back ?

Just had a 3 night break at the Langstone hotel it was fantastic the staff in all area’s were lovely couldn’t do enough for you , the room was spotless and the bed was comfy, we had dinner on a bed breakfast and dinner package the food was absolutely delicious 4 courses plus coffee outstanding food , a beautiful Victorian hotel was spotless the grounds were beautiful I can’t wait to go back now I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the area now , thank you to all the staff for a amazing stay .

Booked an afternoon tea which was a birthday present from my in laws. Booked it for 14th September. The colleague on the phone confirmed Thursday 14th September at 5pm.The colleague booked it for 14th August instead. Wasn't aware until we received an email that we missed our booking on 14tth August. Rang hotel. And unwilling to except THEIR mistake. Unwilling to help us. And have now lost out on a present my in laws spent alot of money on.I would avoid this place at all costs.By the looks of the replies to some of the reviews they don't own up to their mistakes. Woman on the phone today was unhelpful.
Absolutely wonderful hotel. All the staff were attentive, accomodating and friendly.Stunning views from the gardens.The hotel has an indoor pool, a playroom, a lounge and a large restaurant. Saturday night they had a disco by KB entertainment and he was spot on. Got the kids involved and was really fun. We also saw Amelia for her party which all the kids enjoyed and she took them outside with a parachute for games.Only a short walk down to Dawlish warren. The path is suitable for pushchairs as well.Very spacious car park.Rooms: Air conditioning wasn't great if at all in our family room was the only down side.

Fantastic hotel with a beautiful view, super child friendly with easy access to dawlish warren.Great at adapting to allergies and wonderful service at dinner.So many things to keep you entertained within the grounds such as tennis, table tennis, pools indoor and outdoor both of which have children's pools too for the little ones and an indoor play room as well as two outdoor play areas.Also during the summer holidays they had children's entertainment which even my 1 year old was happy to watch and interact with.We had a wonderful stay and didn't want to leave, I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone even if it's a little local break away!

Our 3rd time visiting Langstone Cliff. It's the perfect location for exploring Dawlish and Dawlish Warren. Only a few minutes walk from the train station, so it makes exploring further afield easy too. Ideal location for families!The rooms are nice, but very dependent on which type you get. The large family room sleeps 4 people, but very little room in-between beds, so feels very cramped. I wouldn't recommend this room if you're a family of 4 with a dog - it's not big enough.However, in the past, we've had the family suite and it's ideal for a weeks stay - with a sofa and space to leave your bags etc without tripping over eachother.The bar service was great and generally good in the restaurant area.We'd visit again, it's a great hotel for the family!

Went Here for our silver wedding anniversary called in advance I wanted a nice room ended up in a small room overlooking car park ! Children running about unsupervised! Like a kindergarten ok if you have kids or dogs otherwise stay clear if single or a couple looking to have a quiet break away ! You won't get that @ this hotel seem to cater more for children than the parents who arrive with them entertainment solely for children only we thought hotel maybe would manage to put something on for adults! No issues with food @ least one saving grace I suppose and good location reception staff not helpful either all in all very disappointing break for a special occasion definitely will not be going back to this hotel anytime soon !!!!
