You pay extra to sit in despite still having a takeaway cup and no plate and no service. Tables are often dirty as customers clear their own tables but tables aren't wiped. Batistas are rude and blunt to customers waiting for drinks. Probably alright for a quick coffee on the go but not if you want to sit in for a nice coffee and chat with a friend. Two of us enjoyed egg and cress sandwiches with a mug of Earl Grey.Sat in the downstairs seating area. I had not seen my friend for over a year so we ate and talked and talked! Relaxed atmosphere for over an hour! I had never been to a Pret a Manger before, and will never be able to say that again!!

Ordered a gingerbread latte which in itself was £3.70 and they only filled the cup up half way. Admittedly I had cream on top, but still for the price this is not good value and will not be returning.
