Visited the Exeter Inn today with my walking group, sixteen and four dogs. Nice place and nice staff. We had hoped to eat lunch there, but unfortunately that wasn't possible on the day. I had previously spoken to Malcolm the landlord and asked, as they couldn't do a lunch, if he would be happy for us to take our own food, and he very kindly said yes. Wow, thanks Malcolm. We wish you and Jane well for the future.
Very good place to eat and park for the night. Friendly owner and amazing food. The mixed grill was very good with lots of meat and well prepared. Will stop here next time im in the area for sure.
