The Stand Off is a decent pub with a sports-focused atmosphere, which can be quite loud at times. The service is good, and the pub has a piano, making it one of the few in Exeter with this feature. The roast is exceptional, with succulent meat, perfectly cooked vegetables, and a delicious Yorkshire pudding. The burgers are also praised as being among the best, with the Hot Disco Burger and Sriracha fries being a standout.
