We live near Exmouth and enjoy visiting this charming little cafe and shop. The food is always fresh and excellent quality, the service is polite and welcoming, and when I visit with my grandson, I feel safe that his food allergies are catered for. It gets busy and we sometimes queue, but it’s well worth it. Only wish it was open in the summer evenings.
This is the 1st ice cream vendor that has ever asked if I have allergies. He then pointed out those containing egg (my allergy) and proceeded to change his gloves and get a new unused scoop as well as ice cream from a tub that had not been with the other flavours. I was extremely impressed. He also asked my friends who had no allergy the same. Came all the way from Manchester to meet up with a family friend and the weather was not great so we found this place just beside the car park near the lifeboat station.what a fantastic place! Small and cosy with the most friendly staff and the best hot chocolate ever p perfectly priced.It has a take away as well and I’m told the ice cream is very good.Well worth a visit!
