My acquaintances and I were delighted with the sheer excellence demonstrated by the talented culinary experts working within this marvellous establishment. Put simply, the sustenance provided was exquisite, showcasing the finest ingredients in which I can only presume are locally sourced. I am reliably informed that the front of house attendant upheld tremendous levels of client service towards my houseboy, whom attended the restaurant to receive my nourishment, this feedback was inclusive of an extended conversation arranging the rather serious matter of my delicately fried potato lengths being deliciously seasoned with the finest cheese one can acquire. I will ensure that my upmost recommendation is thoroughly distributed throughout my social circles.

We have been using Ali’s for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. We always collect our food as we are outside the delivery area. In the past we have telephoned our orders through which has been great but they have now introduced ordering on-line, which we also use. Mo and his team, particularly Unus have always looked after us and in our opinion, they are the best.

Dropped in on my way home after watching Ottery St Mary FC play, and I’m glad I did . Top notch doner kebab, tasty meat and very good fresh salad . All good, recommended.

Ordered food online for delivery, after 1 hour, rang to find out when food would arrive. Was informed they were busy. After a further 20 minutes, I decided to go and collect. Was enjoy my dinner until I found a dead fly in my meat.

I’ve been using Mo’s kebab shop for 20 years, the food has always been excellent. Mo is a nice guy and his prices are fair.But I cannot let tonight’s effort pass. I phoned my order in and was greeted by a youngster with ZERO customer service skills and an even poorer attitude.I was told at first that cheese couldn’t be removed from a burger (seriously?!) and only when the youngster asked an adult, did common sense prevail.Then, before I could complete my order, the youngster started to read my order back to me….so fast that I couldn’t understand him.I asked him to slow down and repeat it and on doing so, I pointed out that it was incorrect. He sarcastically told me I hadn’t ordered sauce or salad!I lost my temper a little at this point and told him how poor his customer service skills were and that, waiting for the customer to complete their order is probably best.To their credit, the adults were friendly and professional when dealing with me and they must have heard the telephone conversation; it would have been easy for them to take the youngster’s side.I’m not a fan of negativity but his attitude was SO poor that I feel I need to post this.And to Mo, on seeing this lad, he does have a resemblance to you and I’m sorry for moaning if he’s your son, but his attitude did you no favours.

Food was ok for the time of the night as we went about an hour before closing. Multiple options, pizza, chicken and kebabs.

I had never ordered from Ali’s before and ordered online so I didn’t have to wait in store. Unfortunately this didn’t go to plan and I waited an extra 30 mins but the food was fresh.I got exactly what I asked for and I have no complaints. It’s not the best but far from the worst.The garlic bread was very nice ??They were flat out with an hour wait time for delivery so I’d say best to go in person, order and then pop in the pub!

Absolutely vile food over cooked donner meat that tastes like rubber and a chicken burger that’s pink and raw, I don’t usually do reviews but this must have been the worst food I’ve been served in the local area

Order from here regularly. Normally have a mixed kebab. Had a chicken burger tonight and too my disappointment you no longer get a nice tasty bit of chicken breast. But they’ve replaced it with a disgusting battered thin bit of chicken if you can call it that. Bring back the lovely thick chicken breast burger.

Been eating here for over 2 decades now and never tried the Alis mighty burger until yesterday and OMG it was incredible. ?They have always been very welcoming and friendly and the food quality has always been good.I'd recommend trying to avoid the peak Friday and Saturday evenings as they are often mega busy.The spicy chicken wings and pieces of chicken are dangerously good too... Keep it up.
