“Lovely hotel in centre of illfracombe... I left my new coat and the staff not only found it but stored it for me to pick up after a week! Staff were subliminal, breakfast fantastic and big thanks to the lovely Kelsey on reception for giving me my coat back! It really felt like a family-run hotel as staff were all so amazing.Even the crazy lift to our second floor room was an adventure ?Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful seaside town.”

“Tuesday midday so very quiet.Excellent service and friendly helpfull staff.Food quickly served and of good quality. Steak and kidney pudding very nice, if a little short on filling, and the chips were perfectly cooked. Mushy peas were excellent and the accompaning jug of gravy set the meal of well.Sirloin steak decent size and well flavoured but more medium than the medium rare ordered.Overall very good value for money with a pleasant ambience in a nice location.”
