Visited here a few years ago and as visiting the area decided to return. Better than I remember! It's just great when everything works just as it should. From arrival to departure everything was first class. Rare to find a restaurant where all the waiting staff are so friendly, efficient and helpful. Thank you in particular for that. Every course was delicious too. Enjoyed the aubergine starter, a delicious chicken dish from the specials as my main and a very tasty home made Tiramisu for dessert. Will most definitely be back in the New Year as I spotted several desserts I need to try! Thanks for a really great evening.

We visited in July and booked for a birthday meal, the food was so good we haven’t stopped talking about it since we got back! the restaurant isn’t super modern and it feels really authentic which is rare these days. The staff were so friendly and accommodating too. We are currently planning our next trip and have included a visit to Ilfracombe so we can visit again. I would recommend booking in the summer as they get very busy.

went last Sunday on off chance of a table with wife shown straight to a table they even made me a starter that wasn't on menu best meal I've had out of Italy they could hold there own against any restuarant in Italy hands down food was hot absolutely perfect thank you I will be back soz I only had £10 on me you deserved more and thank you till I come back

Very good Italian food. Risostto with seafood is delicious. Delicious pizza. Great service. The waiter met our children's expectations, for which we are very grateful. Great atmosphere. We recommend this place 100%

Everything about this restaurant is great. Really good italian food served by lovely people who make you feel welcome. The bottle of Falanghina was yummy, so if that one bottle is anything to go by then you can trust the wine list too! We will be back for sure.

Could not fault the service or the food. All excellent. I was only in Ilfracombe for the night and dropped on this place by accident. If I was a local I can honestly say I would be a regular. Thanks again for fitting us in guys. Very much appreciated

We wanted top notch Italian food, served by people who cared about it. Giovani & Luca didn't dissapoint. Unanimous reviews on Tripadvisor & personal recommendations convinced us to give them a try. All the food was excellent served on HOT plates so stayed hot till the last mouthful. The staff were friendly & helpful but still had their own minds. The ambiance and decor was also done very well & tweaked a bit to our liking.
A lovely restaurant with great customer service and great food. On a cold and windy night with a storm due Giovanni and Luca's was just the place to dispel the weather with warm and comforting Italian food.

Excellent visit to this lovely authentic Italian restaurant. The whole experience was wonderful. Attentive, friendly staff & great service. An extensive menu. The food was delicious. We enjoyed minestrone & avocado with prawns for starters. I had cannelloni & my husband had the calzone pizza for mains followed by panda cotta & an amaretto trifle. Can’t wait to visit again & try more dishes on the menu. Great location if visiting the theatre
