Fabulous Guesthouse in a quiet street in Ilfracombe. Jill and the rest of the staff are excellent. It has a lovely vibe here. My full English Breakfast was perfectly cooked and good amount. There is a hill to the property and no parking outside but other than that, I cannot fault the place. Clean rooms, towels etc. Also there is wine and nibbles room (called the Olive Room)available to the public where I enjoyed a ‘Sharers’ board (cheese, biscuits, meat(can do veggie) houmous etc)with my Son one night. It was delicious! Going back to this Guesthouse, hopefully soon ?

We stayed here the evening before our ferry to Lundy and it was a wonderful place to stay. Very convenient for the ferry terminal and a lovely breakfast before we set off. We also had a lovely glass of wine in the Olive Room the night before.

We needed to cancel our booking as my husband was taken to hospital and so I called Jo and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Once better we rearranged our booking and again no problems. We were given a warm welcome and shown to room 5, a huge room with an amazing view over ilfracombe. Following a great sleep we enjoyed a lovely breakfast, perfectly cooked and plentiful all served by an unobtrusive and efficient young lady. Thank you all for a comfortable stay and big thanks Jo for your kindness when we couldn’t make our first booking and allowing us to rearrange with ease. Highly recommend booking this B and B ( book direct , easy to Google the telephone number ?)

Lovely place to stay. Warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere and really helpful with tips on where to eat nearby. The big three (Bed, shower, Wi-Fi) were all good and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

- Absolutely delightful Guest House in a quaint and adorable little city!- Friendly and helpful staff with useful tips.- Super clean rooms with a warm and inviting atmosphere.- Great sturdy bed with comfortable mattress and fresh clean linen.- A bar just at your doorstep within the Guest House!- Heavenly continental and cooked breakfast with a personal touch.- Loving the no shoes in the bedrooms rule! Coming from Malaysia that's exactly what we do at the doorstep before even entering anyone's house!- Awesome experience with me and my sister who have not ever gone away together! Should do this more often Sis!- Would definitely come back!- Would most definitely recommend Olive Branch.Rooms: See notes above.Walkability: Walkable to many local amenities -- Tapas restaurants, seafood restaurants and Cafes at your doorstep.- Several nearby pubs.- Most importantly within 5-10 minutes walking distance to the harbour and sea.Drawback: Very hilly and steepin many places!-Food & drinks: As above.Noteworthy details: As above.

Room was clean! Not sure about Bath in room or glass toilet! Maybe 30 years ago! Breakfast was OK but not brilliant...... hotel location is half way up a steep hill with NO Parking! Car needs to be left in public car park in town....... View of sea was a stretch! Very Fawley Towers!Rooms: If your offered rooms 1 to 3 be aware they are at the top of the building up 5 flights of steep stairsWalkability: Not for those of a certain age! Or with asthma very steep hill not advertisedNoteworthy details: Rooms were clean and bed comfy but that's about it!

What a cracking find. Central location, lovely family run B&B with its own bar next door. Great breakfast, lovely bedroom with a great view (worth being on the top floor). Lovely touches that I've only ever found in 5 star hotels. Loved it.

Did an overnight stay here arrived late but the owner was a absolute professional. She told me where I could park the lorry in a safe place. The hotel was very nice and fresh nicely prepared and comfortable. Stayed for breakfast then went on my way. Would highly recommend for a stay or overnight stopover. *****

Welcoming hosts, spacious bedroom en suite with roll top bath. Comfiest bed and pillows ever and a great breakfast, plenty of variety and freshly cooked. The location is great too. The room was well equipped with toiletries and tea and coffee facilities.

Fabulous find. Great service, food and location. Also, they have kept many features of the premises to give it real character. Definitely coming back.

Very clean and welcoming , breakfast was very good but Room 2 not suitable for seniors. Up three flights of stairs and twin room was small with very little storage. Biggest problem was tiny bathroom with dangerous stepway on the door. Duvets were much too hot.
