Lovely restaurant, great food with fresh ingredients and quite authentic Spanish food, everything we ordered was very tasty my only criticism is that the Spanish tortilla wasn’t really a traditional tortilla, it was more like a potato au gratin but nevertheless it was very tasty, the friendly staff were fabulous too.

Firstly, the actual look and atmosphere of this place is lovely. The owner was very welcoming and the waiting staff too but unfortunately we had to sit through 5 minutes of where the food was sourced. This made my family very uncomfortable as they are autistic! Just a bit over the top in my view.My husband said he had the best red wine he’d ever had but the drinks took too long to arrive. We had food arrive before our drinks.The food was generally tasteless and not very authentic in our view. The meat balls were tough, gristly and chewy, the potato dish reminded me of Lidls, the king prawns were completely tasteless, the roasted charred peppers, also tasted of nothing, the garlic bread was nice but couldn’t taste any garlic, just cheese.I’m not sure if they taste their own food so I recommend they do!

We've been to the Terrace on many occasions over the last few years; and the food and service has always been great and tonight did not disappoint. We had the meat and cheese sharing platter to start with...yum yumm yummy! Followed by the prawn, chorizo and black pudding plates...such a treat!!

Just visited this fantastic restaurant. From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. We received a full rundown of both the food and drinks menu. We started with a mojito and a beer and then ordered six different items from the tapas menu and a lovely bottle of red wine. The tapas was one of the best we have had, it was excellent. The service was also first class and I would certainly highly recommend this little gem. The icing on the cake was that our Staffie Stanley was welcomed and had his own blanket by the table and a few treats!!!

Lovely ambience and dog friendly - You didn’t feel having to be sat separate from the restaurant Staff was very good and offered great customer service Nothing wrong with the food but it didn’t blow me and my family away. It was a standard English tapas menu and the food represented it. Overall I would recommend a visit

As soon as we arrived at The Terrace for our pre-booked evening meal, we were greeted by all the staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable. The restaurant is much more spacious than anticipated, and the atmosphere was relaxed but vibrant at the time we went (7pm). We order a variety of dishes and all were really tasty and reflective of authentic Spanish cuisine. tea,The staff are all very helpful and attentive, but left room for you to enjoy your meal. My wife an I had a lovely time at The Terrence, and the pace of the evening was perfect. Wish we would have booked sooner as this is one of the best finds in Ilfracombe! 100% gets our vote for a lovely evening out. Well done team!!
