This establishment deserves a michelin Star ? If not indeed several !I’ve eaten there a couple of times and the food is incredible You can’t believe you’re just in a little pub in the beach!! The atmosphere the staff …everything’s just perfect .They allow well behaved dogs which gives it more atmosphere too.Also I regularly take and collect clients in my Taxi and they are always extremely happy with their visitI highly recommend this place to all my taxi clients ,visitors and locals and thought I ought to put it here for the wider community .If your coming to South Devon Book at a table here before you come as they get super busy ??

We’ve eaten previously at The Cricket Inn in 2023 and booked again to make sure we could enjoy the fresh, local and superbly cooked sea food once again.The pub, and the stories of the Beesands fishing families, make it even more special. To be able to enjoy real local food and learn about the families past and present make it authentic. So good to be able to support the community by eating, drinking and sharing the atmosphere.The Cricket Inn is a gem. The food and service were excellent - again!!I thoroughly recommend purchasing a copy of Roger Stones ‘Beesands - a history of the village and its people’ A superb read that introduces you the fishing lives; tough times, war years, Brixham trawler battles…etc , and the families such as the Steers who are so important past and present (for sale in the Cricket Inn)Thanks The Cricket Inn and Beesands - we will be back ?Jon, Denise, Mollie, Nick, Eliza and Flora
