We’ve eaten previously at The Cricket Inn in 2023 and booked again to make sure we could enjoy the fresh, local and superbly cooked sea food once again.The pub, and the stories of the Beesands fishing families, make it even more special. Great sea food. Seafood pancake, stone sea bass and fish pie are all recommended. Service excellent. Best book in advanceWalkability: Parking is along the sea wall, so in front 9f the pub. V convenientFood & drinks: Restaurant specialising in sea food. Decent portion size, good value, great tastes. Booking recommended

This pub is fantastic. We ate here on New Year’s Day at around 3 o’clock. I couldn’t fault either the food or the service. The pub decor is lovely, the staff are welcoming and helpful, and the food is brilliant. My starter of pork cheek fritter was delish, as was my main of halibut with mash and green beans. And the crème brûlée dessert was…utterly delightful. Definitely a pub I would recommend.
