Came here for a pint, lovely winter atmosphere. There was no chef so they didn't serve food on this occasion. Could do with a better selection of lagers but nevertheless still a good variety of ales. Would come again!

Men’s toilet was poor, seat loose, flush faulty, no toilet brush, cheap toilet paper. No hand towels. Had two cask ales, tasted nice but didn’t hold the head due to glass issues, they either need replacing, refreshing or check the dishwasher rinse is doing it’s job. On the plus side good service and clean.

Called in every night whilst on holiday. Not disappointed. I’d recommend the drought beer ( Exmoor) which was just as good bottled. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Reasonable prices. Pool in the rear popular with the locals, and music too. Didn’t appreciate it when the tv was tuned on loudly as well! What’s the thinking in that!

Super friendly local pub. Stopped off for a quick drink after visiting Valley of the Rocks.

We popped in for a large wine and cuppa. We were told sarcastically ‘we’re a pub not a cafe’. At which point wine was being poured from a miniature bottle into a glass and we were not offered an alternative to tea. Disappointing. Would not recommend. Rude staff. Disappointing collection. Very unwelcoming.

I popped in for a pint having spent the day at the Classic Car Show. I asked if I could pay with a £20 note, knowing that some pubs don’t take cash anymore. What I got in reply from presumably the Landlord/manager, was sarcastic comments about how “we’ve never seen a £20 note in the West Country before” (I’m from Ilfracombe, half an hours drive away.) With his thick cockney accent, I wonder what part of the West Country he’s from?! He then short changed me and joked about putting the pound in the tips jar. He might have been ‘showing off’ to a couple of locals sat at the bar but having worked in hospitality myself, his attitude stank! There is a reason his pub was empty on what should have been the busiest day of the year for him. Don’t bother, there are far more welcoming pubs down the hill in Lynmouth.

Very nice pub and good prices for drinks. Beautiful little beer garden. If you're lucky, you can say hello to the owners friendly cocker spaniel

Feels like quite a ‘local’ pub but with limited options in Lyndon, can’t really fault it. Old school pub type, decent Tribute!

Nice little local pub, nice landlady, Karen, hope that is the correct spelling of her name.

Great value, nice atmosphere and good facilities. But the drinks choice and service was poor. Hot drinks machine not working, soft drinks pump not working, and not taking card but selectively allowing customers to pay on card. Would like more of a choice for drinks on tap- they have the lagers you’d expect, but a poor choice of ales.
