Visited twice for dinner as was staying down the road on holiday. First night didn’t book as was a Monday, second we did book as was a Friday night and luckily got a table. Both evenings food was lovely! Food isn’t expensive so wasn’t sure what to expect as although pub is clean and cosy it is a traditional pub with sticky tables. Could not have been more surprised by the clearly home cook food. Really good portions too! Service was really friendly also! Plenty of choice of drinks too. Would return if holidaying here again.

Very good friendly staff. Limited food options on the night, but the food quality was good. Initially at 1800 hours there was 2 tables in use. As the night progressed the place came alive and was buzzing. A well support pub. Big car park to the buildings rear.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp leading into the main areas from the side if the building.

Lovely Dartmoor village pub, serving good food, especially the pizza, sorry forgot to take the picture before I'd eaten it!?The landlady is excellent and the staff reflect her standards.Occasional live music nights, monthly quiz raising funds for community groups.Oh yes, there's also a good range of drinks to be had.?

A welcome lunchtime stop for a couple of beers & something to eat while on a circular walk. Although the first in the bar on a Monday around 1pm I was amazed to see how quickly the pub filled up with separate groups.......all wanting food so putting a potential strain on service but I didn't witness anything of the sort.......well done! We both enjoyed our lunch and the food & beer/cider was very reasonably priced for the area. The bar lady was friendly & chatty (until it got busy) and the pub itself is a great-looking building with character. Thumbs up!

Had a fews days off looking after my wife after surgery, we decided on lunch at the Kings Arms, been many years since I last visited. Popped in Thursday lunchtime and were greeted by a friendly young lady at the bar, I chose the Chili, wife went for the fish, and a bowel of chips, food was great, desserts good too, we we're looked after very well in this lovely old pub, reasonably priced, plenty of choice with drinks as well. Dog friendly (should have brought our terrier)! It was quiet, one other couple came in for food whilst we were there, so go support these kind of places, we'll definitely be back, thanks for a lovely lunch (Background music was great too)!

A nice countryside pub which we used for a stop and refreshments along a walk on the edge of Dartmoor. Would stop by anytime again.

What a wonderful find whilst on a few days break..Dog friendly, good size car park & garden seating for drinks & food out in the sunshine if preferred plus tv coverage so not to miss your favourites..? A very friendly atmosphere & all staff are wonderful. FOOD... can only give 10 out of 10 for freshness, taste & portion size..seeing is believing...Many thanks to you all...??
