Pubs • “Went to Paignton while we were on holiday in Devon found this lovely friendly pub we went in there for lunch only problem I say it was to big portions not a problem if you got a big appetite ? The staff was friendly the food was delicious and the place was spotless”
Pubs • “Enjoyed quite a few evenings drinking and dining here this holiday again. Friendly staff and good service. Excellent food each time. Beer and cider kept well. Tables cleared and wiped down good between each customer. Very busy inside and out with both locals and holidaymakers most times as a very popular bar, but service still very efficient .One of our favourite drinking and eating bars in Paignton.”

Pubs • “Fabulous food served in a wonderful setting. Great ambiance. Great, unobtrusive service. We had the seafood sharing platter, pie of the day, sea bream and a chocolate delice all of which were delicious. Would definitely recommend for all round food and service.”

We had fantastic service from one female member of staff to sorted a table for us in the evening. She was so polite and friendly and nothing was too much hassle. We cant thank her enough. Was our first time away with our 6 month old and she helped make it painless to enjoy a meal out together.”

Called in for an evening meal & drinks on a friday.Table felt sticky even though it looked like it had been cleaned. Maybe the cleaning fluid they are using?Food was very enjoyable We only wanted a small meal each , so opted for the baked Camembert & chutney for hubby, and I had the skin-on dirty fries (looked like normal fries though) in a basket with crispy belly pork, bacon & Maple syrup. Absolutely fantastic, both dishes really tasty.Ciders and beers kept well and pleasant service.Pool table.Felt to me like a locals estate type pub , kids screaming and tissues all over the floor in the ladies toilets at the time we were there.But our meals and drinks were good , and meals were served in a decent time.”

“Update on my review. The seafood platter is back on the menu and it was really delicious. More than enough food for 2 and everything was perfect including the price.Great food and again great location. Fish and chips where amazing but do wish the seafood platter was back on the menu. Still this is only an observation not a criticism. Would definitely recommend for a meal or just a few drinks.”
