Rocked up with the family on a Friday to charge the car in the only working charger port in the area. Was pouring with rain so went in for a hot chocolate and an early light dinner. Had a good laugh with the ladies behind the till who found it absurd to seve Hot chocolate on a Friday night in a pub. Popped in on way to holiday home, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. Dog friendly and staff really make you feel welcome. Both time food was delivered sooner than anticipated and piping hot and presented well. Staff make sure your visit is enjoyable and are very friendly and take time to talk to you . Although a queue for the bar of around 15, the 1 bar person did an excellent job of serving efficiently, chatting whilst preparing drinks. We asked for a table for two and ordered our drinks and meals and took a seat. We were served by a very friendly lady called Gemma, who apologised for the delay in the food and kept us informed of its progress.
