U would think of this as a great local pub but its everything else but that. This is a noisey pub... The music played isn't that great... The pool table isn't even level.. The drink prices are quite high.. The staff maybe friendly but the whole pub needs a revamp and also needs to have the welcoming of a pub... wanna go to a decent pub in paignton guys and ladies go to THE TORBAY INN and you'll never step foot in this hell off of a pub again.

Avoid this place until the current tenants are kicked out! This 1nce "okay" locals public house has been run into the ground by Barry and Mickey! Not only do they leave the pub in an awful dirty state but it's fairly obvious to anyone that there own personal hygiene is non-existent and it's just disgusting..... I've heard that the brewery is going to sack them so hopefully they'll get someone in who has a shred of dignity and they can turn it back into the friendly place it 1nce was.

I had been out to meet friends, I’m walking home, a man decided to follow me home, as a young woman, and being nervous, I just walked into this pub, and Barry, the owner made me feel so safe in here. After explaining everything, even went out and check that nobody was waiting around for me. The music was great, they have a huge drink selection, great snacks selection. Will be back 100%. Thank you so much for helping me in a difficult situation
