Great atmosphere with regular live bands, themed nights, bbqs etc plus pool table, and darts. Kids friendly if u stick to games room or if u want a quiet drink a lovely lounge. Plus main bar. Nice staff and reasonable prices with regular offers.
My father, John Parr was a former landlord of the pub. It was a long time ago approx 1967. I joined the RAF in 1968 when living in the pub, that is why I remember it well and the adventures I had. I worked behind the bar when I came on leave and remember the customers well.

I had been out to meet friends, I’m walking home, a man decided to follow me home, as a young woman, and being nervous, I just walked into this pub, and Barry, the owner made me feel so safe in here. After explaining everything, even went out and check that nobody was waiting around for me. The music was great, they have a huge drink selection, great snacks selection. Will be back 100%.
